Ok, you got me. I'm sitting here trying to decide which one YOU think is the great one. I see several great ones. My guesses are 6, 7, 9, or 11, and I'm going to feel really silly if you chose a different one. I forgot to mention my #2 favorite also did not make your list. We rarely differ that much, lol #5 was my second pick. MAybe rotating the picture is better? Rolling hills, waves, tops of clouds? Chuck I definitely noticed that one, but I liked the other ones more, I guess. Cool rock though.

As far as your initial question...I'm still trying to tumble! LOL I've got a load that is waiting to get out of the first stage, but I've got a bunch that need to be ground down and put back through stage one. Some are waiting to go in the vibe, but I don't have enough for a full load. I've been taking advantage of the warm weather and slabbing a bunch of rocks so I have some material to cab when the weather turns nastier...and tomorrow is going to be warm enough to go hounding. Basically, I don't have enough hours in the day! LOL As far as your tumbles...yep, those are the types of tumbles I'm TRYING to achieve! I'll concur that Crazy Lace is an AMAZING specimen! You're right, there is SO much going on in that one stone! Beautiful! Thanks- I guess I have just been on here long enough to remember when the tumbling section of this forum was really thriving. I posted these same pictures to a Facebook tumbling group at the same time and the comments on FB right now are 37 as opposed to 6 here. FB likes 130 vs 7 here. My roots are here so I keep posting plus I figure if I give up and just switch to just FB that adds to the problem. Good luck with your batches. People are always surprised that I have 100 pound of rotary stage one capacity and only run one small lot-o vibe. That is how I eliminate ever waiting to run a load. I would rather have small controlled batches every week instead of one 18 or 45 pound load. The weekly polished rocks take all of the patience out of the equation. Chuck

Duh for got my post to go with the quotes. Please keep posting here. I, for one, can’t stand Facebook or the other “mainstream” social media outlets. I much prefer sites like this and the members who keep it real and cool.

Where have all the tumblers gone. Facebook? I try to still drop some photos here from time to time but there seem to be less and less folks to see them. I'm still here! I've been quite busy with work / life / COVID right now.. whole family had it. I stopped tumbling when it got cold and I have a good 300+ lbs to tumble and another 100+ to lot-o polish lol. Got some great stuff coming out but it won't be until the spring now. Always glad to see your stuff !

Being busy with work right now is a good thing considering how many people are without jobs. The rocks can wait. I got into a weird funk back in March when this all got started and didn't go into the rock shop for about 4 months. Chuck

I'm actually in the ICUs here in St. Louis taking care of mostly COVID patients, so that is probably how I got it. I was fortunate to not have a bad bout with it (nor did my family who all had it also). I wasn't planning on doing ICU COVID work - but again - I'm fortunate to have a job and to be able to take care of many people who need high level care for such. It's a blessing in disguise sometimes I think. I hope you and your family are well. I agree - rocks can wait - but I miss doing them. I plan to start all to soon next spring Good to hear from you Chuck. Please do keep posting here, many enjoy your pictures and wealth of information - and they don't tend to be on FB.

God bless you and your family saxplayer! We all got it here also. Hasn’t been too bad on anyone except my father in law who lives with us and is still in the hospital. He is doing well though and is supposed to be out before Christmas. Stay safe out there everyone!

Most of us younger folks will be fine if we get / had COVID (statistically speaking). Of course, I have taken care of multiple fairly healthy patients who did not do well - so that is and has been always on my mind. None of us want to transmit it to our parents or grandparents either, which is near impossible with this stupid virus and its latency period. Glad to hear you did ok, but I really hope your father in law does well and gets out soon. Grant
