I've been using titanium dioxide in my rotary (my aluminum oxide plan did not work out so hot; turns out that decimal places are IMPORTANT), and my vibe came with something called "Raybrite TL" which is a mystery to me. Does anyone know what it is?
I've read about CPP, TXP (not available), tin oxide, something called turkish emery, cerium, aluminum oxide.... what do you like to use? Why?

99% of the rocks I post are polished in the Lot-o vibe using the A/O polish sold at www.rockshed.comThat includes everything from my obsidian all the way to my jaspers and agates. I have been using that polish exclusively for the past 12 years. Chuck

Raybrite is Raytech's proprietary aluminum oxide polish. Raybrite A is .5 microns. I can't find anywhere on what the micron size is for TL. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use it as a polish in a vibe. Try it -- you may like it.

I figured all their stuff was AO of some variety but couldn’t find a size anywhere. Chick, I’m in Canada or I would probably buy stock in the Rock Shed. Half the stuff you guys have easy access to is unavailable here or super expensive.
