Thanks! I was wondering how big because they weren't pulling down those branches.

Thanks! I was wondering how big because they weren't pulling down those branches. In the first picture, I was holding up the end of the branch. They’re heavy, but not too heavy.

Great idea. The stocking and the tree are the best.

Love these. I am having visions of a small tree decorated completely in rocks. There could be lights behind the translucent ones.

The color combo on the stocking is cool but that quartz angel is my favorite. Did you cut the slabs thin for this project? I have some pudding stone ornaments that I slices at just over 1/16" thick to cut down on the weight.

I'd be afraid that they'd be too fragile if I went very thin, but I could have probably made them a bit thinner. Next year.

Seriously, Rob, those are fantastic. They remind me of the dough ornaments kids used to make for Christmas presents in school... I love this place, everyone is so creative!

The ones I did might have been a little over 1/16" thick but really they are not fragile at all. Not nearly as creative with my shapes though. A pudding stone angel is on my to do list now. I do not like the wrap but never got around to changing it. I had intended to use ribbon. Chuck

Awesome idea. As long as the colors are good this is a great way to use up all those slabs I have that aren't quite good enough to cab.
