With a disclaimer. I needed some rocks to help fill the vibe so I could get my December Cab Challenge cab done so I used some rocks that my son had tumbled in the rotary over a year ago. He decided he was done tumbling them, and even though I didn't necessarily agree we moved them along. Lots of pits in his rocks, lots of cracks, not rounded at all.
Why am I telling you this? Even though the rocks were imperfect, I was still able to get a good polish. I was worried about trapped grit contaminating the next stage in the vibe and I don't think it really did. Of course there's still polish in a lot of the rocks, but they still polished.
I'll post the cabs that I had with them individually, here's a few of the tumbles that I liked- even if they're not perfect.
Thanks for looking!

Based on the title, I was expecting something that looked terrible. Many nice ones in there. I understand about the cracks and pits but my daughter prefers the rocks I tumble for her to be smooth and shiny but not perfectly round. She like the tumbled rocks to look like rocks, not jewelry.

Thanks! Yeah, it's just not the way I normally tumble. I like smooth and shiny also...

Like chapslv stated, I was expecting a major debacle! Some of those turned out really nice...and some great pictures by the way!

I was out in the garage on my phone when I first looked at the pics. I thought I saw banding...and now that I'm back in on my laptop, I can definitely see that!
