Hi All!
New to the forum, and a little new to tumbling. I recently scored a Lortone Gem Sparkle 3A NR1 tumbler and have encountered some confusion in ordering replacement parts. I'm wondering if anyone can lead to me a parts diagram? I've had some luck on The Rock Shed site, but since I don't see "3A NR1" listed in any of the parts names, I'm not sure if I'm ordering the right stuff. When I took it apart to clean, I noticed the motor doesn't have a motor pulley; is it supposed to, and if so, which size? Also, does anyone know what the NR1 indicates?
Thanks so much, Ethan

ethansco I was not sure what a "Lortone Gem Sparkle 3A NR1" was since it is not in their current catalog. What I found on e-bay is a 40 year old tumbler with that designation. Lortone 3A tumblers have been two different shades of blue in the last 30+ years my original Lortone 3A was indeed a 3A NR1. That was in 1972. they have a greenish paint job. my age estimate is based on the color the tumbler is painted. check out: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1783/4633/t/4/assets/3A_Tumbler_Instructions.pdf?v=1365396662230421983the lortone motor has a fan and there is a pulley built into the fan. It is one piece. On that link it is listed as part H 001-100 Motor Pulley With Fan

Everything is the exact same as the 3a’s except the NR does NOT have a fan. The same parts that fit Lortone today and even some of the harbor freight will fit the old NR.
