DH usually gets me a tool or something rock related, but this year I got socks. Yes, I did. (He said it was to hold me over. So I think something is lost in the mail.)
I did get this for myself, though. It was listed as MHPJ and was cheap for 2 small but orbiful, mostly solid slabs. I think it was a good buy.

Well, "Santa" got me a slant cabber, a 10" slab saw, and SIX different MFRBs of rough and slabs...he's been delivering for over a month now! LOL
My wife did get me a rain suit to use with the slab saw! LOL
And my stepdaughter got me a book, Collecting Agates and Jaspers of North America.
Oh, and my wife also got me a 15" glass bowl to hold some of my "best" tumbled rocks...

My gift was sort've rock-related. Santa brought me a new house with a 450 square foot workshop. It didn't fit in his present bag so I'm going to have to go to Arizona to claim it. Ho, ho, ho, and off we go!

We don't exchange presents. I bought this for myself. The saw arrives on Tuesday. My son gave me his cold, so it will stay in the box for a while.

Hang in there, Tela! You'll find your house. May take longer than you want, but you'll find it.

Thank you so much for saying that! I just read an article about how bad the supply of existing homes is. Bummer.

All great stuff so far. I got the Wiley Wells GPS book, a WiFi digital microscope for looking at my rocks, a little belt loop pack (not a Fanny pack!) for hunting so I can carry rocks in it, and I went and bought a 7” tile saw for trimming my pieces up for the tumbler and cutting geodes and nodules in half with a gift card I got from my boss. Now I want to get out to the Potato Patch and Hauser Beds to pick up some stuff to cut open!

RickB didn't get any rocks this time but Santa did drop off a new laptop. Wife made out like a bandit this year though as she got a 14k gold and jade butterfly brooch and a norena jasper pendant with sterling bezel. Those are nice. Your work?

Pretty stuff. Guadalupe seems to be listed as MH quite often, probably because one name is more recognizable (and fetches more money) than the other.

RickB Lucky woman! That brooch is to die for. And the noreena is a nice piece, too.
