Here I am trying to c-wrap again. I got a great gift from Earthdog (Thanks again EarthDog!) and tried my luck again! Here is the thing: don't look at the wire as I recycled from my last failed wrap), nor the design on the front (as I only got one side to cooperate as the wire was twisted on one side) nor the bail (last minute decision) nor the twists at the top (trying to hold all those darn wires together). So basically you can look at the stone and admire Earthdog's work! um.. well here it is - remember - forget the wire, admire the stone! Remember this is my half-hard wire that has made my hair gray and that has caused me many heartaches & pain! Remember that! Thanks for not looking - Sorry ED, I'll get my act together next time!

Tweetie, I also go some "gems" from ED. I have done a really nice wrapping using craft wire, but really messed up when it was bail time (I'm going on try #4). I didn't have any bail problems with my first 3 wrappings... were my first 3 just beginners luck?
You did a fine job on your wrapping by the way. Even with your half hard wire (Doesn't really show that it's used wire)

That's pretty darn nice for using half hard used wire. I'm amazed it doesn't look a whole lot more crimped up, you did good. Keep it up, you can only get better.
Cher
PS .... As you asked, I didn't look.

It looks good to us in the peanut gallery! I can't imagine trying to reuse the wire. Enough of it gets broken on the first wrap for me. It would never hold up to a second try. You're doing great and are inspiring to those of us who don't have cameras or the nerve to post our efforts. Please keep it up. Joe -however, I still wouldn't trust you around innocent teddie bears!

Joe, Thanks for the compliments but I do have to say that this group is great for encouragement as I've posted horrible wraps, some with tape too and have gotten good help and even with the tape episode, I've gotten compliments on the wrap. I also have to note, that I had permission from my 4 year old to gut his teddy bear which I did, but I did refill him with stuffing from another toy that was getting the ax anyways

Christmas tree - yeah that's what I was trying to do, I realize that the blurry effect probably helps in the "look"

Ok Tweetie, teddy bear surgery sounds MUCH better than gutting innocent bears! I am proud to know you as a Doctor of bears. Good luck and patience in all your practices. Joe

Very, Very nice. You did a great job on the wrapping even though it is recycled. Tami
