My wife's family has a cabin on a lake by the Platte River. We spend a lot of time there each summer with our two kids (aged 9 and 12). As you can imagine, over the years we have collected a lot of rocks! We bought a Leegol Electric (2) 3lb barrel rock tumbler as a family Christmas present this year. After the most minimal amount of research, we jumped right in and started tumbling. I found this forum on the second day when I opened it up to burp the barrel. I found some good information, and have been visiting ever since. . . 4 days in a row!
We are crafty people. My wife builds stained glass windows for a living and I am a drafter/3D modeler. I do woodworking, work with metal, and enjoy creating mixed media art. I'm feeling at this point that I'm totally going to go down the rabbit hole - and I couldn't be more excited.

BTW. . . Tuff Troctolite is my new catchphrase for the kids when they get whiny
