Good Morning! I am so excited to be here to be educated in my new hobby of rock gathering and tumbling. We have a National Geographic tumbler and a gift of a double barreled Harbor Freight tumbler. We have gathered many Leland Blues, Petoskey Stones, and many other beautiful stones on the Lake Michigan and Lake Superior Coasts. I am happiest on the beach (even in the winter) searching for beauty in nature. They are like snowflakes, with no two alike. I have wooden bowls of rocks all over the house to admire with the touch and visual senses. Being a novice of this new addiction, I look forward to learning all I can from the masters! Thank you for including me! ~Cheri ***can you please give me specific tips (grit, time, & stages) on tumbling Leland Blue?

Welcome to the forum from South Dakota. We have rocks strewn all over the house. A small patch in this window because they need further review...a bowl of tumbled rocks in the living room...and at the moment rocks spread out over the kitchen island because they just got slabbed and washed. It's getting pretty bad at our house! LOL I know jugglerguy (Michigan Rocks on youtube) just posted a great video about tumbling Petoskey Stone, and I'm betting someone knows about some info on the Leland Blue...
