This is a batch of Montana Moss Agates, Mexican Moss Agates, Kambaba Jasper, and Serape Jasper (and one tine\y Mozambique agate). I finished a couple months ago, and I thought you might enjoy it! They spent ten weeks in the tumbler, seven of which were spent in the 60/90 rough stage. I like to catalogue the statistics and any notes from my batches, so I have a detailed spreadsheet of the time the spent in each stage if that interests any of you. 60/90 - 1000 hours (no number rounding here! Pure coincidence!) 120/220 - 207 hours 500 - 218 hours Polishing - 212.5 Total time - 1,637.5 hours (or 68.22 days) This is also my first time uploading images so if there is something off about the upload please let me know! The whole batch!

You did a great job on those! I always like the variations in patterning in Montana Moss agates. What is next in your tumbling queue?

The next batch is Bahía Agates! They've been in the rough stage for seven weeks now, but I should be moving forward in another week or two.

Those look great! I have a bunch of the Montana moss agates ready to be tumbled, so it is nice to see how well they can turn out. Numbers 1 and 2 are particularly striking. I also have some Bahia agates to tumble and will look forward to seeing those results, too.

Nice job on these! I don't usually miss a thread like this, sorry I didn't respond sooner! I love that Montana Moss #2! I didn't really care all that much about moss agates awhile back, but I've really gotten to like them now! LOL - I like all of those Mexican Moss Agates! Nice job on the Kambaba! That's not an easy one to tumble I hear.

The Kambaba put up quite a fight! In the end I was only able to get two of them to shine well, the other three seemed to get the polishing grit stuck in them. I think I'm going to give them another pass in the 500 grit then polishing grit again. This time I'll try some more rigorous cleaning methods. It may end up needing a Lotto tumbler to get them just right, but I guess we'll find out!

This is a pretty cool batch. And I am glad that you posted some of the close ups because I think that those translucent ones which have the junk inside them are super cool. Moss Agate #2 looks like a herd of Geese flying through the air. I would like to have a paperweight like that which is about 4 or 5 inches wide! My second favorite is the first Moss Agate you posted. I like the moss part even if the colors are kind of demure.
