I had two batches finish up today. This one is snowflake and rainbow obsidian that was done in the lot-o. Lortone 12 pound rotary barrel with 46/70 until every flaw removed (weekly grit recharges). Lot-o 120/220 SC two tablespoons with 1 tablespoon of borax for 48 hours. Lot-o 500 AO 1/2 teaspoon with 1 tablespoon of borax for 96 hours. Lot-o sub-micron AO polish 1/2 teaspoon with 1 tablespoon of borax for 96 hours. Then a final burnish in the lot-o with two tablespoons of borax for one hour. Thanks for looking Chuck

Wow Chuck! Great shine on difficult material. Thanks. Snowflake in this size and flawless has been a difficult task. For some reason snowflake has been the worst variety for pits and spalls in past batches. Chuck

I love baby flake. You did them proud. Of all the rocks I have tumbled good size flawless snowflake has been difficult to achieve. Mahogany, velvet, silver sheen and jet black all seem to have less defects. Chuck

Outstanding roll, Chuck!
Love the gorgeous snowflake. I don't see one flaw in any of them. The shine just about blinded me!

Those look great, I have to get started on a batch of rainbow. I haven’t tumbled obsidian for a few years.
