My larger saw needs parts and we undergoing a trial separation. I got these pieces of rough from Roy and the new new 10 inch saw should be good for these. Royal Imperial and Kimber Chrysocolla.

Oh nice materials! Looking forward to seeing what you create with it once your saw's setup.

Perhaps you could do a review on ease of set up and use. It looks like a good alternative to the other new 10 inchers I've seen.

I can't wait to see what you do with that Royal Imperial. I saw some rough for sale online, but I didn't care for the asking price! LOL

LOL Check out the auctions and buy it nows at www.facebook.com/groups/FullMoonRockShop/I paid $25 plus shipping for the 15oz piece. Since I sell I can gamble on the yield. I see 5-6 slabs but don't know how far the pattern goes. The two slabs from the face will pay for the piece. I bought the Chrysocolla and an 18oz piece of Lucin variscite so the shipping cost was spread out. There is enough pattern to get at least 4 preforms from the variscite. $51 including shipping for the lot. Better than ebay. You posted about some clam shell on ebay so I bought a piece for $17.32 including shipping and tax. 4.9x3.8x.33. I should be able to make plenty of cabs. I like the pattern better on the material I bought before but the slabs were thinner.

Facebook and I have an understanding - we leave each other alone. I agree, I think the pattern you had on that first slab of clam shell was top notch. Not saying this one is bad by any means! Just saying the other one was definitely top shelf. I still bet you're going to make some amazing cabs out of this piece!

I have no use for social media. My first experience with FB was having my account hacked and my language changed to Chinese. There was no information on my account and it was hacked because someone could. No support from facebook. I had to clean up a bunch of friend requests but after that, no issues. I have no interest in social networking. Every corporation has a facebook presence. It is used for buying and selling lapidary products. When I started out most of my material was from ebay and shows. I don't travel much and ebay isn't what it use to be so I explore other options.
