Hi,
I'm fairly new to cutting rocks. I bought a tile saw some months ago and have been enjoying cutting rocks and decided to try cutting royal imperial recently. It seems harder than all the other jaspers and agates I've cut as the saw vibrates and it feels like the blade is bouncing off the rock rather than cutting into it. With some perseverance I managed to cut one piece badly: the cut piece broke off halfway.
I'm using an MK Diamond 7" blade that I've cut maybe 20-30 rocks on. Any advice for how to cut royal imperial on my setup? Do I just need a new blade? Or a different kind of blade?
Thanks in advance!

Choochoorocks, the saw and blade should not vibrate. Make sure the blade is in good cutting condition, use the proper lubricant, and make sure the stone is held securely with no wobble and don't force the blade into the rock. This material cuts like most of my other rocks in my saw-an auto feed. Other drop saw people should have more information.
