Nope no pellets no clue! It was back in the late 80's (why does that sound like a long time ago?) the internet thing was just starting to take off- and the kiddie tumbler was just something the son and I did for fun- we got some Ammy crystals at a rock show and he wanted some purple stones to take to school- so we tumbled em up and they were going good until the polish stage- he was happy (to have shiny purple stones) I was discouraged- and I gave up- left the hobby for a long time- but it is one of those things you never really get out of your system- Man I got to get some purple to tumble! Hmmm guess it is time to start looking for some Amethyst rough!

Hey Tweet... roughly what would it cost to send say, 10 lbs of that stuff from Canada to Florida??? That is beautiful.... I've got a few nice chunks of amethyst, but those are amazingly nice... Can never have enough purple stuff...

I've tumbled quite a bit of Amethyst, sometimes it's fracture, sometimes it's not. Takes quite awhile to shape up but takes a gorgeous shine. Never used pellets in coarse but used it the rest of the way through.

I understand the fondling and playing with it, It feels good. Iagree with Cookie, some great healing power. The colors are marvelous. One of my desires is to have a great stash of crystals, but I'm finding out about other stones in heaing, too. The beauty of rocks just takes my breathe away.! rt

Just looking at the pictures again, doensn't do them justice at all - They are just soooo much better in person Malavic: The shipping is between $20 - $30. This stuff isn't for sale, I found it tremendously hard to put 2 small pieces into a mixed batch to tumble. Don't know how I'm gonna get these going. I'm not yet ready to let go! I really need help! I seem to be like this with all the pretty rocks - some I couldn't care less about, but the nicer ones, are harder to get tumbling...

I have a collection that spans most of my life- I have 2 chunks of rose quartz (about 1 Lb each) that i cannot part with- A 3 Lb chunk of snowflake obsidian that is worth a small fortune- and some other goddies that are just for show only- Of course after a while you start to look at em and think- If I only cut one small slice---------

I have accident prone & disaster prone family members, nothing lasts long in my house! I have nothing pretty to look at & admire.
