Hi! I’m new to the forum, I came here with an issue. I got my tumbler for christmas, it is a National Geographic hobby tumbler. I’m on my first set of rocks, grit 1 and 2 went great with a combined 12 day spin cycle. I have moved on to my third grit but when I set the cycle, it seems that the tumbler stops spinning after a few minutes. there is a beeping coming from the plug, and the timer buttons all flash red on and off. I don’t know what the issue is, i have made sure the machine is level, the belt is ok, and I just really don’t know what to do. Any advice would help, even a shot in the dark. Thank you!

Tumblers I have seen don't beep. sounds like an electrical issue. make sure the drum is 75% full though.

Sounds like an electrical problem to me too. Make sure you are getting Good Steady voltage to your tumbler. It is a New tumbler and National Geographic are the worst tumblers that we hear about here, so you may need to investigate and fix it yourself. Is it working without the barrel, Do the rods spin freely, is the belt too loose/tight, are the bearings oiled, is the motor getting hot, does it work with different speed settings. Tumblers are very simple machines and usually easy to fix.
The fix that I recommend is a Lortone 3A tumbler.
