Beautiful! You do really nice work! I love the wire color in #2. But, I think I like the last one best. One of the best trees I've seen.

Beautiful!
I've seen exceptional, complex wrapped pieces that were abstract designs, but your carefully planned, complex, and symmetric work is truly impressive — and they don't "swallow" the stones. I can't even imagine doing that.

what i mean about simple is that the 3 weaves is not hard to do. that last 3 is a bit harder.

Wow! That is not at all what I was expecting when I opened this thread. And I mean that in the best way possible!!
It reminds me of walking through a museum where each painting is in an ornate frame that is selected to match the piece of art it contains. Your wraps are like the frames and really set off each cab beautifully.
And my brain is also struggling to think how any tutorial to do such work is simple. 🤔

brian The first three photo are from a tutorial, the last 3 photos are wraps a lady taught me how to do. She taught me for 2 days, and 20 wraps to get it right. All I can say is more you do the better you get, buy a couple of good tutorials and try it to you master them.

Those are absolutely beautiful ! I can assume those take a little more time than the average wrap ?

The last 3 do take longer, around 6 hours

Wow, those are all fantastic. Great job on all of them. I love the viking knit style incorporated into the weaving and such.

These are all excellent work. I am not sure in what context you use the word 'simple', but I know that all of this is an excessive effort which results from years of continued practice, and requires a very high degree of patience.
Thanks for sharing them, and best of luck at your next show.
