I bought this necklace in New Mexico several years ago. It really needs cleaning and the silver needs polishing. Can you give me any tips? Also, what kind of rock is it, please? Thank you!

Is that silver? A good polishing cloth would probably work- like a sunshine cloth. Or, you could use a cleaner like the speedbrite. You could tumble polish with mixed steel and plastic pellets, too. Sorry, can't ID the stones.

Sorry, can't ID the stones. Another vote for Sunshine cloth. They can be purchased from Rio Grande, and they are the bomb. I have no idea how they work, they just do.
I think that you can buy just 1 for like 2.50 each. And they last. And you can cut them in half and they last longer. I always give them to people that are unfortunate donor recipients of my wire wraps.
