This was an interesting cab I made from material that was solid and well bonded . The crystals were easily shaped with light pressure on a 60 grit flat lap and held together while vibing. This was another winter scene entry if the entry cab broke.

Your entry cab is awesome, but this one would have been a serious contender, too. You could have named it "Don't Eat Yellow Snow"!

Hummingbirdstones, your name suggestion is definitely appropriate. My wife gets to make the choice on entries but I do prefer the color and the way light moves through the stone when moved.

I think this cab is fantastic. I am pleasantly surprised the crystalline structure didn't fracture. It gives me hope on a couple preforms I've cut recently that have a similar crystalline structure to part of them.
