I know I'm a bit late to the party with the whole mask thing and hope we'll be done with it soon, but for now they are still mandatory (even outdoors) in our area and so better late than never. The primary print on demand contractor who prints all of our apparel, mugs, and hats has not had a mask offered that I liked enough to put in the store ... until now. www.etsy.com/listing/948389547/mask-no-rock-is-safe-rock-tumbling-hobby?ref=shop_home_feat_1At $18.95 it's a bit pricey compared to other masks BUT you're showing off your RTH community spirit and supporting a great cause. Trust me when I say that I've priced it as low as I can so that a few dollars comes to the board for each mask sold - after product costs and Etsy's ever-rising fees. If I may ... a quote from a member of the forum who tested one for me and loved it... Feedback is welcome!

Feedback: Use a picture of an agate and I'll buy a few+ I'll wear an RTH Tee when I'm out and about, but during work and most activities I don't want to advertise anything. Especially not on my face.

I like it! I can see what Eric is saying about work, though. Maybe offer a more work friendly one, too.

Great points Eric thanks! I also could not wear any kind of printed mask on my job if I still have one to go back to after this latest shutdown lifts. The idea was presented to me by a member who actively participates in rock shows and selling, and since people are staring at the mask anyway it's a wonderful opportunity to represent RTH in front of the home crowd of like minded people. I do plan on rolling out more designs as we go, mostly with rockhounding or gem & mineral meetings/shows in mind, so thanks for the agate suggestion. I've also been trying to visualize something like that in my mind.

Also agree with the suggestion for an "un-branded" option. A picture of a pretty rock will get most people's attention pretty quickly. Then we have the opportunity to tell them all about the RTH.
That said, I just ordered two of these. I was a "test subject" for this mask. It surprised me to get one, but Tommy knows I'll complain about anything... .
The "size regulators" on the straps are great. Pull them forward so they're in front of your ears, and they do make a difference in the fit.
I didn't know there was a pocket for a filter. I'm still a just a big kid. I grabbed the thing and put it on immediately. It's the best one I've gotten anywhere.

Funny, before we switched to company-supplied surgical masks, people got very creative at work. So much so that I started a “wall of fame.”

We got our new masks Saturday.
Robin said the fit on hers was good, and it did appear to be. Mine fits great even over my big beak, and doesn't fog my glasses. I didn't realize an extra filter could be added to these until I saw the graphic showing all the features. These masks are good.
I was thinking that over time these would still be good for the dust we raise while hounding. Everyone got sandblasted on a club trip for AZ pet wood a few years ago, and one of these would have been a great thing to have had that day!

How do I fit one on my dog? She's a rock hound. ;-)
Would you ship to Canada? I think it would be great to wear one in a video, plus maybe do a giveaway. I'd have you ship to the winner directly, especially if the winner was in the states. No point shipping to Canada and then me shipping it back again across the border. As I say in my videos about most things: "I am cheap".

The store listing is set up to ship to Canada - unfortunately for the moment Canada is lumped into "international" and there is a $14 charge. The reality is I'm dealing with a print contractor who moves their manufacturing of products around their various facilities and so at the moment I have no idea what to charge for Canada - that's the reason it's lumped with international. I will contact them and try to figure out what is a more reasonable and realistic shipping charge to Canada and I'll fix the listing.Edited to update: Shipping to Canada is set up in the listing at $5.99 per the print contractor.
