So what's the deal with eccentric art with stones as part of the medium? Do you have or create any?
I don't comprehend it and it's alien to me but I can appreciate much of it. I doubt I could ever be a successful artist in this genre.
I have a couple lapidary pals who focus on it and I'm a recipient of an occasional gift from them.
These items aren't quite my style but they occupy an honored place in my office because of who they came from.
Let's see what you have!

Here's another and I was told it won't be complete until I name it.

I told the story of a drunken man laying in a teepee and a while later was gifted this piece depicting the scene complete with booze bottle.

The above are mounted upon a coprolite slab. I was informed that it was a very crucial part of the display??? Perhaps because there's a Xmas dinosaur ornament on it? Call me clueless ....

This one I actually kinda like just because it has more tactile appeal to me. I would maybe name it: Put the Crack Pipe Down.

Geez, Randy, what does it say that I have no objets d'art to contribute to your thread? My friends and I must be really boring!

Here's another and I was told it won't be complete until I name it. So, this is just my opinion...and I don't live anywhere near the artist! This looks like it could've been the illegitimate offspring of an illicit tri-entity affair of Stonehenge, an Easter Island Moai, and Sloth from the Goonies...so the name might be MoSlothHenge...

After making some thoughtful facial expressions I apprehensively admitted that I might name it "The Horn of Ecstasy." She wasn't sure what that might imply. Me neither, but it appeals to my naughty side.

Here's another and I was told it won't be complete until I name it. In this picture especially, I would name it "Chicle on a Stick."
