So every once in a while I look at my earlier wraps. Some stones I really like so I want to redo them. This one was wrapped in nickel so it got on the list...still practicing...

I like this! It would be cool to post a pic of the original. Thank you, ma'am! I'll have to look and see if I can find it... I have two more (for now) that I want to redo, a Queensland Agate and another Fairburn- I have before pics of those I'll post when I do so I can get feedback.

I definitely like the choices made on the rewrap better than the original on this one. The rewrap definitely makes it look "elegant"! |

It’s amazing how something as simple as the orientation can change the appearance. In the re-wrap, the white bands look like a series of clouds and the upward swoosh at the end is uplifting. Upside down, the white bands just blend in with the rest and the focal point is less defined.
Great improvement!

Beautiful job on the rewrap. I have a few cabs that I have taken apart the wraps on but haven't rewrapped them yet. Still feeling under the weather and busy with other things so haven't been wrapping at all lately.

Before the stone was ok, I like it way better with the clouds on top! Thanks, Brian.

Thank you Mike. I'm hoping to feel better soon too. Can't get an appointment to see a doctor until March unfortunately. I don't think we ever get perfect but close enough is awesome. |
