You can remove the stain on the outside with Super Iron Out. Do you know the hardness? Or are you asking about the coin? hehe

If so I would say travertine. If not then quartz would be my next guess. It is all about the hardness.

I used a piece of rose quartz and I did not notice any scratches that didn’t rub off
