What did I find hear? And can it be tumbled or should it be slabbed? Found in Kingsland, TX near the riverbank Does not scratch with a pocket knife tip  |

Yep granite. white is quartz and pink is feldspar.

There are stones that some people love that I just don't get, and I know some of my favorites are not everyone's cup of tea (like brown agates and jaspers -- the SMS shop steward HATED 99% of those). Leaverites are in the eye of the beholder Tommy : new shirt idea -- I ❤️ Leaverites!  |

When I find a rock, I think it's a gem...when my wife sees it she says it looks like a Leaverite to her! Maybe she needs glasses...or I do! LOL |
