I got two slabs on Etsy recently; Blue Dream and Stinking Water. I paid more than I would like. The Blue Dream slab was small and had the pattern I wanted. The SW was large and most SW slabs are narrow. One of the two Blue Dreams fractured. I have a bunch of SW and decided to make a cab with a nice pattern and a pair of earrings from a slab. One of the earrings fractured. I trimmed two earrings from another slab in case one of the pair fractures on the wheel. Morrisonite and Clam shell.

Definitely some nice looking pieces in there. It stinks about the breakage.

I dopped the preforms. I took a look at the fractured preform and think I can get a pair of earrings from the pieces. The picture is of the bottoms and I'll finish grinding when I'm fresh. The fractured area will be above the girdle line.

They all look great, but I really like the Morrisonite and Clam Shell (as usual )

I got the clam shell from an ebay seller because the slab was large and thick. The finished pattern changed a lot from the preform. I am happy with it.

I have admired the clam stone since way back when I first saw you post one. It was SO fabulous, it has been stuck in my head.
