woodman How have you been polishing this one? Unless I am mis-judging the size it does not seem that it would fit on a flat lap. Henry

Henry I used my flat lap without the sweep to lap the saw marks off using 120 grit, one heck of a lot of lapping. then I used a hand held variable speed polisher to sand and then polish. It is 30 inches across the widest part.

I ran across that before with videos and just plain forgot that it does that. It is not all that large of a file tho! cloudinary handles larger jpg files ok so the problem may be that it is a MP4. all above my pay grade.

I'm a "poke and hope" kinda guy when it comes to some of the technology stuff...I just keep pushing buttons until something works, or I mess something up so badly that I have to delete it and start over! Saw a picture out here from someone, don't remember who. Thanks Henry

Bob, I can't tell how thick that slab is. Did you back it with anything to prevent breaking? Can you handle it by yourself or do you need more hands to manage it?

It appeared to be cut with a wire saw. I do have a drag saw and I could have it something that large.

It is an end cut so the thicken varies, from 3 inches to 1 inch and it is just about all i can lift. did some damage moving it with my front end loader. Got wife to help me move it back into the shop yesterday after cleaning.

Got three wind chimes made and a lot more slabs to get drilled and polished!! For that size of slab I really needed a bigger flat lap!!, But it worked out. A abit more polishing on this one and then back to the Stinking Water ones!
