Ok, I have a problem. I find it very hard to cut lake superior agates. It's a special occasion when you find one and they're super cool as is. It's how I got interested in rocks. I came across this one without a lot going on and figured I couldn't make it worse so gave it a shot.

And after. Probably one of the highest domes I've made and was tough to photograph! Can see my arm in there too lol

This is exactly what drives me crazy about Fairburn Agates...what's hiding on the inside doesn't always make itself evident anywhere on the exterior!

Just substitute "cabochon" where it says "statue" and "agate" where it says "marble block." Oh, and I guess "grind" replaces "chisel."
