I decided to redo this one, since the first time it was done with nickel wire. I didn't hate the first wrap- in fact I liked the wires at the top. Anyway, here's the before and after. As always, input is appreciated and thanks for looking!

I like the rewrap on this one Mike! I like the orientation change you did on the stone within the wrap as well...and of course being a Fairburn, I just flat out love the stone! (Nice back-drop in the new pic as well! Paint me jealous! )

Just a piece of palm root that I need to get to work on... Thanks again for the compliment, I appreciate it.

Me likey, Mikey!
The new stone orientation makes a big difference and I do really like that elliptical wrap at the bail. Beautiful!

Thank you, ma'am! I probably could have gotten a better pic, the lighting makes it look kind of dull.

The wrap and the stone are both cool! love the light-colored fortification in the middle of all that red. That and the druzy makes it really pop.

The cab itself looks much better in the new wrap. And, that is what this is all about.

The wrap looked great the first time but it did improve with the re-do. It's amazing what time, practice, and better wire can do for even a "wonky" cab. It is beautiful.
