I have been very busy again lately and here are some pictures of what I have been working on. The first two are just two of the head pieces I have been working on, I will have 3 or 4 more designs, I just haven't finished them yet. This last picture is an sample of the very long chains of silver and bronze ankle braclets I made to sell to length. I am trying to get as much done as possible before I set up my booth at my SCA event. Tami

Maybe one of those could hold it all in. How could one not be regal in one of those? Or look like a head piece. Either way... cookie

Yes Tweetiepy I did make all of those rings myself, I use a coiling jig to coil the wire, then I seperate the rings and finally cut them apart withflush cuttes. The anklets sell for $1.50 per inch, I found that the average ankle was about 8" which would be $12.00. You actually get 9" of the bracelette so it will fit properly. I have 3 different head dresses the one you see is called the Sharrie it is for really long hair it hangs to about the middle of my back, I also have the Teanha which hangs slightly below shoulder length and the third length I have is the Krissy which falls just below the hair line for people like me that have short hair. The Sharrie is $100.00, Teanha is $75.00 and the Krissy is $50.00. To make one for you all I would need is the circumfrence of your head in inches, which one you want and what color of wire you want. The jingles only come in silver and brass. If you want one I won't be able to make one for you until after Labor Day Weekend. There is alot of time invested in each one of them. The Sharrie takes about 2 days, and the Teanha and Krissy take 1 day each and that doesn't count the day or two it takes to prepare the rings (I have to close half of the rings so I can speed knit), of course that is with interruptions of taking care of my sister, cleaning the kitchen 1 to 2 times a day and fixing two meals a day. I have really found my nitch in jewelry making. When I vended at the Manhattan, KS Ren Faire I didn't have any of the head dresses but I sold almost all of my ankle bracelettes, I make one big long chain with about 500-600 jingles on it. The wire I use comes from www.parawire.comTami

I forgot to add the other thing I would need to know to make one for someone is what color of Swarovski crystal you would want. Tami

What kind of wire do you use in those pieces? How does the bracelet hook together?

I use color coated copper, brass and bronze. I was using hand made hooks, but found that on people with very skinny ankles and very active kids the ankle bracelettes tend to come off easy so now I am going to be using the loop and bar clasp that is popular with wrist bracelettes. I want to thank all of you for your compliaments. Tami

Tami that is amazing - that's a whole lotta rings - I ended up buying some rings in aluminum & anodized aluminum and making a two-tone byzantine bracelet for my son - he loves it and I'm hooked!
