Decided to try another lake superior agate from the stash. Couldn't avoid the fracture but all in all turned out ok. I usually go from slab to a cab instead of a raw rock to a cab so good learning experience. Spent a lot of time on the back but then decided that should be the front lol

Thanks! I took your advice and got the old flat lap out for the back. Worked pretty well but need to try a few more times.
