It's funny how I have to make myself go in there and create, even tho I know I will feel better after I do. I've had a picture in my mind of what I wanted to do with some of the pet wood for some time, I worked on it today and came up with 2 looks. The first is my original thought. I thought memory wire would make it hang better, but now realize the necklace should have been softer and longer to support these long stones: Then I tried removing the outer 2 stones and reversing the remaining 3, giving it more color and contrast: Still a little to big, but I have a direction to go in now. What ya think? cookie

Cookie, that is some great wood!! The tri is much better. Now, if you did a triplet on memory wire with spreaders, it would really be something. Those are some dynamic pieces. I love it.

I like the second one better. Do you think it would still look good with the rocks spaced a bit further apart? Either way I'm glad to see you do something that makes you smile. Joe

I vote for the second one too... I sure do like the coloring on those pieces.

Hey Cookie, that looks good. Maybe you could make a set of matching ear rings with the two rocks that you took off?

Good looking (esp #2) I also have a vision of Pet wood- Bell caps on each end- tied together with wire twists- I think- I am begining to see the attraction of that memory wire- It makes such a bold round stance- A Plus there Cookie Hmmm Now I go back up and look what if you spaced those 5 out a bit more- say the fist set resting about at the collar bone? or is the weight of the rock too much?

i, too, prefer the second one, love the wood pieces. very earthy looking necklace, glad to see you are creating again, Cookie. i do know that feeling tho, you put off doing something until you finally start and then you end up having a ball and wonder why you didn't start earlier...

I like the second one as well, the first one just looked like there was too much there. Tami
