Hi All , You have met my wife a little while ago beside that huge petwood rockpile near Chinchilla. She has now taken to wirewrapping some of my polished stones and here are some pics of her first efforts. Some pics have NZ petwood of the southcoast as background and some my hand. She is showing the very first one around her neck. Enjoy 2 days ago we had a beautiful evening sky on my rockhoundtrip I found my first agate on that beach, plus 4 pieces of petwood and on a trip 9 days earlier I found a very nice piece of petwood which is being processed the biggest piece in top left corner. Thanks for looking Jack and Jeannine

I LOOOVE the first one. They are all really well done, but something about that first one, simple and it fits the stone so well. What are the stones in the wraps? I also love a beautiful evening sky. Looks like the clouds are reaching down to touch you. Thanks for the pics, you two.

Hi Jack, How have you been?
Wire wrapping is an art in itself. Some pieces are over done with wire leaving the stone secondary.
Your wife has the natural "art" of wire wrapping and I think she can only get better with time!
Great job!!
The rocks you find on the beach are amazing! All we find here is dirty sand and dead muscles!! LOL
Thanks,,,,,,,,,

Thanks for your positive comments, gives Jeannine a great boost. I too think that she is a natural artist. She sets her hands to many things in handcraft. The first stone is a ordinary beachpebble , with some quartz in it. Number 2 is a grossular and number 3 is a quartz. I have just finished a very nice piece of petwood , a chip of the one my son Theo found on our farm and that I slabbed last year. It has just yesterday come out of polish and looks awesome. I have asked Jeannine to wrap it for our daughter in law. and reverse side Jack
