Thank you so very much! Nice work, Jason! Those close up photos are wonderful! Thanks Brian! I thought I'd try and show what seems like little healed fractures all over this piece. Very pretty! I really like the light lemon-yellow in that one. Thanks Robin! There were a couple spots of color in this one that really started showing through after the dome was ground down. I like 'em too! Nice composition! I see a bear about to embrace a gorilla Thanks Bill! I believe I see what you're seeing! LOL

Yep, you're really rockin' now.
Think back about a year or so, and then look at your recent ones. You're ready for a post in the "Then and Now" thread.
Looking forward to seeing some after you get the leathers charged up.

Thank you so much Vince! It's actually only been four months...so not quite ready for the "then and now" thread. I told my wife I was getting ready to use the leather any day now...she looked at me funny...I didn't explain any further.

Thanks Randy! I'm hoping to make a couple crappy cabs this week. Had to just shovel an ice drift away from the garage door this morning in order to hopefully pull the saw out later today and not freeze my fingers off while slabbing a few rocks.

Great looking cab! Glad you got ahold of a solid piece to work. Love the macro pics, too.

Stone Canyon can be hit or miss for me. This is a home run. I love seeing the bits of red in it. Very nice.

LOL Super nice, Jason! Great work... Thanks Mike! This was really a fun one to see as it was grinding and polishing through the stages...hoping it would work out. Stone Canyon can be hit or miss for me. This is a home run. I love seeing the bits of red in it. Very nice. Thanks Tela! I saw the potential in this one and was keeping my toes crossed the whole time there wouldn't be any surprise fractures showing up...I had to go with toes because I figured with fingers crossed it would make it really hard to cab!
