First class cutting, Jason! Thank you so much Gary! That seriously means a lot to me coming from you. Thank you Victor! This is from the best slab of SCBJ I've ever had in my hands. Excellent craftmanship.... Thank you so much Mike! I was really happy with how this one turned out. Great quality material and equally nice cab. Thank you very much! The material made it definitely easier...I just had to "knock off the edges"! I really like brecciated anything, especially with the bear and gorilla. š Thanks Pat! In the next one, I'm hoping for Lions, Tigers, and Bears, oh my!

Four months - yeah, right.
Oh, wait - yeah, you're right!
Robin reminded me of that after my earlier post. Just seems like longer. You're cutting like you've been at it longer than a few months.

Back after a massive migraine attack... Great work on that one jasoninsd . Vince is right. Youāre ready. This is some of the most solid SCJ Iāve gotten my hands on. Wish I had more. As Tela rockjunquie said, this material is pretty hit or miss. I just had another rock cut that Iām re-naming Evel Knievel jasper. Every bone it has has been broken and rebroken. There might be some areas that hold but, but Iām not certain yet.

My wife used to complain about migraines...I told her it was all in her head! Sorry you're having to deal with that right now. Not quite ready...but getting closer. I cut some of that "Evil Knievel" thungdereggs today...it quickly became "pieces and parts" rather than a slab!

It is a brilliant looking material, and you did the best job with it that I can see to show off its strong points. Thanks for sharing.

Odd, because you seem to still have all your body parts. You must have cat-like reflexes. re the t-eggs: did just the matrix come apart (not rare), or the cores too (more rare)? For the newbies: āpieces and partsā is not pronounced the way it looks. It sometimes sounds like āfreeform,ā other times like ātumbler smalls.ā Depends on who is saying it.

I was in the living room...she was in the back bathroom...I had a considerable head-start! (Of course I didn't really tell her that...I value ALL my body-parts! LOL) Today, it was the matrix. Last time I cut some, I had one where the core was completely fractured. I left one of the halves as it was since everything was falling apart anyway. That was an Old Richardson's Ranch T-Egg. Today's cutting was Succor Creek... There were no "pieces" today that could be made into cabs...at least not by me. They all ended up as tumbler fodder!
