Heck slice it up. I would like to have 4 slices to make a wind chime from, you can have the rest...it was a big geode. I am going totry to find where the guy got this....he claims you can fill up a 5 gallon bucket with these in no time....but getting him there is another story...ita all underwater.

Deal Kim, will have to wait untill the water goes down in Oct. though.
He also says there are tons of blue flint here as well....I am going to have to buy him some beer to make him talk ;-)

here's an update dwight and note some won't have to be drilled as they have holes already. i have the remaining piece locked in my slab grabber and will try to get a couple more slices. what do you think it is? it does not make a tinkling sound when hit together like agate slices do. a very dull sound instead. but when i hit it against a piece of agate i do get the right sound. i'm curious as to how it will polish since i can't decide what i think it is. i'm thinking alternating it with another type stone to get the right sounds or just make suncatchers instead of chimes. sure is stunning whatever it is. here is what i've cut so far (snuck in some african lace while i was trying to get the last of it in the slab grabber) close ups kim
