Nice looking effort Stefan, do you open the window to make them chime or do you just stand there blowing your lungs out?

Cool effort Stefan. Way to go. Did you polish them yourself? If so, how?

Stefan, Nice job! Could you post a few close-up shots of where you drilled and where you placed the string? I need a set of wind chimes to hang up here on my porch...but need some pictures of building the whole thing. Thanks Steve

LMAO No I open the window (when they are NOT spreading Liquid Manure in the next field) I'll get some close ups of the holes (it is actually pretty easy- I put the holes between 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch apart- then I tie on the chimes- then hold the h whole thing carefully at the top I find the center balance point- mark it and drill up there- the only hard part of the whole thing is drilling the holes- and choosing which slabs to go with what- Oh I did not polish these myself- they are gifts from some very kind friends!

Polly Pocket is this little doll (about 1/3 the size of barbie) and she has sharp pointy toes that stabb you in the bottom of the foot *curls toes just thinking about it* and they scatter all over the floor when the lights are turned off (at least that is what my daughter told me) - As far as the drill bit- wellll I start the hole with a small diamond flame bit, then move to a diamond ball burr- then I move to a diamond twist bit (can't remeber the size) all these I run in the dremel- Takes about 15 min per hole (give or take a few)
