What's this, like number 5? You're killing me! Nice job, Jason- you're a natural! Thanks Mike! I've got to find a couple different styles. This one was a different one than the others I've done. It took quite awhile compared to the others. The binding was really tough for me to get it like it did... Thank you so much!

Dude, are you on a roll, or what??? Thanks. If I am on a roll, I'm not hoping for "snake eyes" - like I just stated in the Daily Pics Thread! LOL

Look at you go! You're like the blasted Energizer Rabbit.
This is a mighty fine pendant, sir. You got your twirlies in, but they're not obstructing the stone. Very nice, Jason!
P.S. This is a great candidate for some LOS patina action.

Thanks Robin! I go 100mph, then crash hard! LOL I had to find a way to wrap the cab so it allowed the full face of the cab to show as much as possible. I had to start this one over as I had the first binding shaped out, but the "tab" was too large for the cab...so I just scrapped that rather than worrying about the wire having been bent already. I took quite awhile to figure out what I was going to do about the bail section. I knew I didn't want it going down onto the face of the cab...but still wanted my "swirls"! LOL (I think it makes it kind of look like a masquerade mask!) *Edit - and the LOS just showed up in the mail today!

Super nice, Jason!! This is a case where the the curls and twisted wire really work. Your symmetry is amazing, too. Really sweet work and pendant.

I'm glad I figured out how to do this type of wrap with the "tabs"...it allows for more of the cab to be exposed. Thanks for the comment about the symmetry too.

That's very nice! Looks like some Rocky Butte I have. Right down the road from Owyhee. Some of the old RBJ had those hills in that color jasper with the dendrites. Very cool wrap!

Some of the old RBJ had those hills in that color jasper with the dendrites. Very cool wrap! Thank you very much! I received it as Owyhee...but maybe it is Rocky Butte. I have some jasper that I have marked as Rocky Butte - and all of that has some kind of green tone to it, rather than the brown/tan tones. I do know Rocky Butte doesn't have to have green tones necessarily...so now, you've got me questioning it a little bit.

Just to add to the confusion, these are all chunks of Rocky Butte from my rock pile that were self collected at the mine when Dale invited us up to let us have some fun. I have cabs and rough with better hill patterns, but if you were questioning it before, now its really confusing...lol. I don't want to hijack your thread showing your great stone and wrap, so I'll leave those for another time. With pictures like these, hijack away! LOL - Those are all "to-die-for" rocks! I know people say SD is great for hounding, but I still think you guys over on the west coast have some flat out amazing materials over there!!!

Wow! Very nice. Once again, you are a natural. Remember... to properly post in the “Than and Now” thread, you have to start out with some that have room for improvement. Great scene in the stone. Great wrap.
