 The registration page says it is emailing an activation key but I do not get it. I have checked spam filters and junk mail, but nothing. suggestions?

I'm tagging Tommy the administrator in case he is needed. Post back if that works.

I tried logging in using Finch79 and finch79 with the password I had set up and it gives me an error message and if I try to sign in with my email address it says I have to enter my activation code which it does not sent to me. Sigh!
And it won't let me reply to your answer without signing in, so I had to start a new thread.

Well, it still shows that Finch79 has an account, so I'm not sure what's going on unless you are using the wrong password. Let me try a few things and get back to you. |

I just registered as a test. I got the verification email with no issues. Not really sure what's going on. I'm tagging Tommy again. Might be awhile for him to see this. |

Unless you are stuck on the name 'Finch79a', I would just try to delete the profile and re-register, at this point. Maybe that's too simple.? |

No luck with registration. I even changed email address to another account - no luck. I asked the system to send me a new password - no luck. I can't find a way to remove my info from the system. Can you (administrator) completely remove all of my information on the system and I will try to start completely fresh with new "name" etc. If that does not work I guess I will be limited to lurking.

Sorry for your trouble - we don't get very many registration issues because registrations are handled at the Proboards software level and there is not a lot I can do other than open a trouble ticket with them which I don't mind doing.
Just so I understand the facts - when you said you changed the email to another account - are you saying you registered a different account not named Finch79 under a different email and also did not receive an activation code on that account?
BTW, I merged your three threads here into one main thread to reduce confusion.

Also - you should be able to reply in this thread now. We allow non-logged in guests to post in this technical issues thread for the purpose of sorting through issues like this but we don't get very many guest posts and I just now realized that I had not fully granted the permission for guest to also "reply" in the thread.

I did not try to register a completely new name because the registration system defaults to asking for my activation code each time I put in an email address. Since you have deleted all my info I will try again with a totally new name. Thanks for your work on this.
