a while back, Beeper posted some rock that would not tumble polish: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=Pictures&action=display&thread=1121714080i told him i'd take a shot at them on the grinder, so here are a few small test pieces (Beeper, if you want i can mount the larger of the two for you, it's 14 x 10 mm the oter one got a bit small in the "practise phase): and here are some i have been working on lately: this is some kinds fossilized plant matter? algae? and here is some picasso marble i got from Rockyraccoon: that green freeform cab i have no idea what it is, it was soft but took a nice shine. the small piece of sodalite almost has a flash like labradite but impossible to photograph properly, AND this is the second time i've had sodalite chip just getting it off the (expletive deleted) dop stick... thanks for looking (i'm having difficulty seeing images...? hope it is a short term problem)! KD
