Howdy, Yesterday I got in a flat rate carton of trade material from South Carolina. I guess the gentleman got my e-mail addy through this site. Really interesting material so I thought I'd post a pic. He has more of this material and is looking for more trades too. I swapped him thundereggs from various sites and petrified wood from some western locations. The material is called Savannah River Agate and is apparently a replacement of fossil coral. Very hard and well agatized. Looks like great tumbling and cabbing material. The pic should give you an idea of the colors and pattern. Let me know if any of you want to contact him for trades and I'll put you in touch with him.......Mel

Stefan: You know, I really don't know if he's a member or not. His name is Dennis and he's from South Carolina. I think he got my e-mail addy from this site though so maybe he was just a visiter looking for some rock trading.

HEY dennis WELCOME--- What else you got? I'm rocked out right now (i.e- no more money for rocks!) But we are always interested in what people have!

I have plenty more Savannah River Agate to trade for just about anything. Here is a link to a Georgia Clubs collecting trip to the site. I can ship a Flat Rate Shipping box full. www.gamineral.org/girard-rr.htm
