Finally managed to get a slab saw, hard to find one here in Australia, they get snapped up pretty quick. I did have to buy all of their gear to get it, but it was at a reasonable price, and some was an upgrade on my old gear. So after a few teething problems, I set out to reduce my rock pile. Some of my favorites I know the agate lower left isn't all that fancy, but it locally collected and there has been only 2 that have any color out of well over 100lbs

Once in hand and operational, a slab saw is a window through which to marvel at things. Each slice is a new look, and there's always hope for an even prettier, bigger, brighter slab or one without fractures. Enjoy the ride.

It looks like you had a lot of fun with your new toy!
What is the green rock with the darker green spots on the left side of your favorites?
That agate you collected may not be fancy, but I like the colors in it. I’d be happy with that one.

Nice amount of slabs right there! And congrats on the "new toy"! I'm kinda partial to the one with orbs there on the right.
