A Coyote skull that I found out in the desert, and embellished with picture jasper, agate and carnelian. Very Georgia O' Keefe, don't you think? I've been thinking of beading it. It hangs on my front porch. ...and my most treasured possession, a Desert Bighorn Sheep skull, also found hiking in NM, entirely too beautiful to embellish. I like skulls. S

Hey Susan, that is truly astounding! In fact, I'm a little speechless. You have every reason to be proud of that find!

hey Susan , nice skulls . That sheep looks a bit like a merino as well....no, better than merino.
I found a seal skull a few years ago...and my lucky dog got hold of it and damaged it too much for display, so I gave her the lot.
As a kid I took skulls home and had them in my bedroom. Lucky fior me I have no sense of smell. But my mother complained about them.

I'm fairly certain it's a Desert Bighorn, as that's our only native species. I've had it since 1979, the year I moved to NM from the Chicago area. S

I have seen skulls like the first one painted with a some sort of scene. Those skulls are great finds. Tami
