As the title states... these are a few from last nights cutting session of wood and miscellaneous gravel that I thought were pretty cool. Fortunately, I should get good few cabs out of this group. Some gravel- This one my daughter said looks like a Swiss cheese factory blew up lol. And the wood- Call me crazy but i see these two pieces looking at each other . Little guy w a serious look on his face and big guy kinda grinning back at little one. And last is my personal favorite of the bunch- That's all for now. Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for looking!

You thought right, they are very cool! And once again, your favorite is my favorite...thanks for the show! Some don't like such busy patterns but I'm drawn to it. Happy I was able to get two good size cabbable pieces since the exterior was so rough i wasn't sure how many voids and fractures would be inside.

That is another fantastic looking batch!
I still can't get over that gravel of yours. The Swiss cheese factory explosion is spectacular, but I'm curious about the one above it. Are the fractures healed, or is it as broken up as it looks?

AND plain patterns, no patterns... Anyway, super nice!

OMG!!! I'm drooling on my keyboard!!! They are all flat out amazingly beautiful! I too am drawn to "busy" patterns in rocks. At first I thought the orbicular was going to be my favorite...then I just kept scrolling and they all are at the top of the favorites list!

Nice ones. Can’t quite pick a fave, but 4 or 5 of them would qualify

Are the fractures healed, or is it as broken up as it looks? Sorry for late reply. The fractures are all healed. Ive had some issues w the Swiss cheese one, unfortunately. Deep pits keep opening up and lose lot of the color, pattern if grind down enough to remove pits.

They don't hold a candle to those elusive Fairburns but do enjoy the surprise factor of never knowing what I might find.

Excellent slices! The swiss cheese factory is my hands down favorite out of this bunch! Thanks! I really like that one and haven't seen anything like it before. Unfortunately, the one piece I've played with I had trouble with deep pits opening up...

Those are some great finds. I've had a couple boxes of that gravel and it is a fun bunch of stuff to tumble. I'd imagine there could be some nice cabs in there too. Thanks for sharing!
