I just have to wonder how many man hours went into making that. When you think of the time and the value of the material, the price doesn't really seem outrageous. (See the $500k meteor sphere for comparison... although at only a few inches diameter, you do save a lot on shipping with that one.)

It’s amazing. But it kinda looks like if you look at it cross-eyed it will break. I can’t imagine how anyone could move it.

It comes with an original assessment of >$800k, which seems like a more fair wage. Especially if you also consider that the original piece of jade must have weighed 2 or 3 tons.

So affordable that it may not be jade. Not at all uncommon for it to be counterfeited. So common, in fact, I’ve never bought jade online. Very nice carving, though.
