Well here they are- so far the recipe is: 2 to 4 weeks in 60/90 recharged once a week 6 weeks in 120/220 (no peeking!) THe slurry out of the 120/220 was like heavy cream- so incredibly smooth and thick- next time I think I'm gonna add more water but the rocks were incredible smooth- worth the wait- I went to prepolish with em First up Owhee Picture Jasper Then Burro Creek Agate Then FOssil Agate Then some Jasper and Hemitite and finally some odds and ends I am trying a new setting on the camera- not sure I like it

I'm gonna check em in a week- let them go longer if they need it- But I'm kinda getting edgy- this dang project has set me WAYYYYY behind- and checking my log book I have not pulled a batch out of polish in over 3 months!!!!!

Stefan, how many barrels do you have? (if you don't mind me asking) Just curious because if this works and you can skip steps, you're still not loosing too much time. I am so impressed tooo grasshoppa, you have learned patience so well. *smile* (you rock Stefan)

Stefan, you win the gold medal for patience! If you haven't already put them in pre-polish, it might be interesting to hold back a few rocks, skip the pre-polish stage with them, and put them directly into polish when the other stones are done in pre-polish. That could tell you if you can even skip the pre-polish stage with this method.

Yea I'm playing with the camera- they are a bit small but I have a crappy laptop at home so I never know what they will look like till i get to work! LOL- Cher I have 3 barrels running at the present time- One dedicated to pro polish and polish- one dedicated to course and one that runs whatever in between- I will be adding 2 more very soon (especially with gas like it is my credit card rewards are adding up quickly!) Rolling- yea they all went in! I was thinking about skipping the prepolish- but I love what it does and these did not look like the stuff I normally pull out of pre-

Nope- Some local black something or other- with a quartz vien running thru! Something my dad collected and wanted me to tumble- BTW the pro polish in the above post should be PRE polish- I would blame it on spell check but I guess I spelled pro right-
