My last DSLR was a DiMAGE 7, purchased in 2002. Spent over $1000.00 for it.
Unfortunately it died a day after the warranty expired. I was allowed to send it in for repairs at no cost, other than postage.
It was lost by manufacturer after I sent it in. They did acknowledge receipt. They said nothing could be done about that, but would send me a new camera at 25% off. I would need to pay for shipping. I declined. Did not want to pay $1000.00 for a new camera.

I am just glad to have a DSLR camera again, even though it is very low end.
Looking foreward to learning how to use this new camera.
