Been a while since I had the time and opportunity to post anything. Back in July 2019, we spent our summer vacation in western Colorado. One of the stops was Cortez, down in the south west corner of the state. The town had a great gem and mineral shop called "San Juan Gems". Terrific store. Picked up some great pieces but wished I had a much bigger budget to work with. Here's some pics of the shop along with what we bought. I'm trying out Flickr for the first time (yeah, I know ... finally coming into the 20th century, Paul?) so I hope the photos show up correctly. Seem to in preview mode.

Lots of material, all over the place ...
Two years later, I'm finally getting around to cutting some of the materials.
End cuts:
If I'm ever back in southwestern Colorado, this is a place I'd definitely head back to.
