Still catching up.
Our 2017 Summer vacation took us through the national parks in UT, using Cedar City as our base. My wife and I did this trip some 23 years ago (pre-kids) and decided to take the boys back and retrace our steps. One addition, though, was making a stop in the road cuts and hills around Brian Head to collect agates. The area is beautiful but in Summer, subject to monsoon/thunderstorm in the afternoons.
Collecting along a couple of the roads:
Tried to drag this one home but it wouldn't fit in the car...
Stopped at Cedar Breaks as well as many other National Parks:
Eventually got around to cutting two of the finds. The rest I have to dig out of the shed. Both shown wet.

This last one has been on the vib lap for about four days at the first stage (45/70).
