Looks like a nice piece of rough. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

I'm going to have jasoninsd cut it, give him some slabs for cutting it, learn to cab and then screw it all up.

That's a positive outlook! LOL I told you I'm going to give you a bag of practice slabs...so you can "mess up" on those! I'm pretty stoked to see the slabs from this piece. You've got to get some cabbing equipment...or a dremel like miket does his cabs!

Can't wait for this to be cut. Been really cold and windy but jasoninsd says it is supposed to get better. I'm sure he is as excited as I am about it. Heck, he almost dropped it on his foot when I handed it to him.

Yep! This is one of the pieces I'm actually excited to put under the blade! But, with 36 degrees with 40mph winds here today it weren't gonna happen! LOL

This one really was a VERY solid piece of Stone Canyon. It had one fracture running down about a third of the face-cut, but otherwise, there weren't any weak spots in this piece. I can't wait to see what you do with it!

I can't wait to see what both of you do with it. For me, I'm pretty sure this'll get shoved to the front of the next batch to have preforms cut! LOL There's some amazing tones of yellow, some greens, and a hint of orange in a couple places. It's definitely amongst the most sound pieces of Stone Canyon I held in my hands.
