Ah today was a tumbler clean out day, and after cleaning up and having to replace 2!! yes 2 lid bands (in 15 years I have never had 2 barrels leak at the same time) Thankfully I had 2 new bands ready to go and I caught the leak before it made a huge mess, but still what was supposed to be a quick clean out turned into a several hours ordeal. Anyway I also played around with the drain hose on the CabKing (A real weak spot in the system as the drain lines are super thin). Well I got them working for now, but a change to a more durable hose is on the short list. So I only did one cab of some Woodward Ranch plume. It worked well and I tried out the 360 grit flat lap to do the back and honestly I had a blast with that flat lap plate. I will be getting a lot more lap plates for this machine as it is almost as much fun as cabbing on the wheels. Ok if you stayed for this long then you deserve a treat.

Well, this wasn't a swing and a miss, that's for sure!!! Sorry for the issues with the tumblers...but glad you caught it as early as it seems you did.

Gotta love the texas plumes.
If you turn the cab 90° clockwise there's a heart right in the center ❤️
Great to see you're enjoying the new machine!

Beautiful cab! So, is it like riding a bike?

Well more of less. I cut 3 other cabs that were just blah. This one worked out well. Still getting used to the diamond on the grinding. They cut so dang fast (as you can see from the somewhat flattened side of this cab). I also need to pay a bit more attention on the 600 wheel as I still get scratches at 1200 that do not polish out (I have always had that problem as I get to rushing after the course work is done). But yes I'm happy with this one. Took it to work and showed my walking partner (we walk on our breaks together) and she fell in love with it! I told her to keep it and I swear that tough old lady got a tear in her eye and could not thank me enough. She showed it off to our entire line, and now I got people begging me to make them stuff. I don't sell my stuff, but I'm thinking maybe I should toss a few pieces on Ebay and see if anything plays out.
