I had a co- worker ask me about a gift for his GF. He wanted something different and unique. He knows I cab and tumble so he asked if I had anything available (lol Yea I might). I took in a dozen different cabs and tumbled pendant shapes. He picked this Crazy Lace egg and Woodward Ranch plume agate and asked if I could drill them (she likes simple pendants strung on hemp twine). I have never used a core drill before (probably should have tried it out on scrape first-but I was in a time crunch). Well the drilling went nearly flawless (a few chips on the Woodward, but super clean on the Lace). I was sure I forgot to take a picture before giving them to him, but when I was cleaning my phone I found that indeed I took a pic so you all get to see. I didn't charge him for the cabs as I just don't know how to price this stuff, he gave me $5 for the drilling (I didn't want to take it, but he insisted). Anyway long story even longer- I have seen Soo much awesome Lace Agate on here recently I thought I would share this Easter egg!

Those are both great looking! That Woodward Ranch has such amazing colors in it.

What a great gift idea Stefan! I haven't had the guts to drill anything just yet...so I think you did a great job on that! I've got several Flor de Durazno preforms that are teardrop shaped...and all I can think when I look at them is they look just like Easter Eggs! LOL
